1. Information We Collect

Free2Party uses industry-standard authentication (including Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, and Email Authentication via Firebase) to manage your account. This includes:

• Account Details: Your name, email address, and profile photo (if provided).
• Social & Event Data: Events you create, RSVPs, custom circles, friend lists, and status updates stored securely via Cloud Firestore.

2. Location Data

We access and process location information to provide and enhance core app features:

• Types of Location Data: We may request access to your device's Approximate Location and Precise Location through device system permissions.
• How We Use It: Your current location is used solely to calculate distances to nearby public events and sort events by proximity. This data is processed ephemerally in memory and is never permanently tracked on our servers.
• Event Locations: When creating an event, the location address or coordinates you manually choose are securely stored in our database for event attendees to view.
• User Control: You can grant or revoke location permissions at any time via your iOS or Android device settings. If revoked, events are sorted by date and time instead.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used strictly to provide the core social and party-planning functionality:

• Displaying your real-time availability to friends and custom circles.
• Facilitating event RSVPs, invitations, and discussion walls.
• Delivering relevant push notifications for invites and updates.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.

4. Data Security & Storage

We utilize Google Cloud and Firebase infrastructure with state-of-the-art encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Strict database security rules ensure only authorized users have access to private event and profile data.

5. Your Rights & Account Deletion

You have complete control over your account. You can delete specific data or delete your entire account and all associated records directly inside the app settings at any time with immediate effect.
